Hot and humid conditions are expected Sunday through Thursday, with high temperatures climbing the middle 90s. Maximum heat index values of 100 to 104 degrees are possible each afternoon, primarily along the I-77 corridor and the Upper Savannah River Valley. These hot and humid conditions will present an increased risk of heat-related illness for those who are sensitive to heat and to those without access to air conditioning.
