Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. A broad area of low pressure, now designated as Tropical Storm Alberto, will continue to track towards the east central coast of Mexico late tonight and Thursday morning. Highs winds, hazardous seas, and above normal coastal water levels are prevalent well north the storm. With the exception of Galveston Bay, a Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect over our coastal waters. Water levels are running 2 to 4 feet above normal and anticipate some coastal flooding until we pass the high tide cycle tonight.
