...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall from Saturday night
  continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Central Kansas, including the following
  county, Chase.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 839 AM CDT, Flooding is ongoing due to excessive rainfall
    from Saturday night in the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cottonwood Falls, Strong City, Bazaar, Elmdale, Cedar Point,
    Tallgrass Prairie, Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, Hymer and
    Saffordville.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.
