This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this morning across central and
south-central Kansas. Severe weather is not expected with this
activity.

Heat indices will be around 105 to 110 this afternoon and evening.
Refer to the Heat Advisory for details and safety information.

There is a chance for isolated to widely scattered strong to
marginally severe storms this afternoon through overnight tonight.
Primary concerns will be 50 to 60 mph wind gusts, up to nickel sized
hail, and brief heavy rainfall with any storm that manages to
develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Lingering storms are possible across southeast Kansas early
Wednesday morning.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms are in the forecast late Wednesday
night through Sunday night. Check later forecasts and outlooks on
the potential for severe weather late in the week.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
