648 FLUS43 KICT 261313 HWOICT Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Wichita KS 813 AM CDT Wed Jun 26 2024 KSZ032-033-047>053-067>072-082-083-091>096-098>100-271315- Russell-Lincoln-Barton-Ellsworth-Saline-Rice-McPherson-Marion-Chase- Reno-Harvey-Butler-Greenwood-Woodson-Allen-Kingman-Sedgwick-Harper- Sumner-Cowley-Elk-Wilson-Neosho-Chautauqua-Montgomery-Labette- 813 AM CDT Wed Jun 26 2024 This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas, South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Storms will be possible over southeast Kansas and parts of the Flint Hills early this morning. Hail up to half dollar size and winds to 60 mph will be possible with the stronger activity. Heat indices between 100 and 105 will be possible this afternoon and early evening across southern Kansas. Additional storms are possible late tonight, especially across central Kansas. 50 to 55 mph winds and nickel size hail will be possible with the stronger storms .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Storms chances will linger for Thursday and Thursday night especially across central Kansas. Some strong to marginally severe storms will be possible along with heavy rain. Look for storm chances to return for Friday evening through Saturday night with severe storms and heavy rain possible. Heat indices will be in the 105 to 110 degree range for much of the area on Friday afternoon and early evening. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
