This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Heat indices will remain around 100 degrees this afternoon for the
Oklahoma border counties of south central and southeast Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Heat indices around 105 degrees are expected on Monday afternoon
and early evening. Another day of excessive heat is expected Tuesday
afternoon with heat indices ranging from 105 to 110. Refer to the
Heat Advisory statement for details and safety information.

A few showers and storms are possible Monday night into Tuesday
morning, mainly across central Kansas. No severe weather is
excepted.

There is a chance for strong to marginally severe thunderstorms on
Tuesday afternoon through early Tuesday night. Periodic chances
for thunderstorms are in the forecast Thursday through Saturday.
Check later forecasts and outlooks on the potential for severe
weather late in the week.
