...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN MCPHERSON...NORTHEASTERN
RENO...NORTHWESTERN HARVEY...NORTHWESTERN MARION AND EASTERN SALINE
COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM CDT...

At 912 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles south of Bennington to Galva to near
Burrton. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Salina, Newton, Mcpherson, Hesston, Hillsboro, North Newton,
Moundridge, Galva, Canton, Goessel, Assaria, Gypsum, Lehigh, New
Cambria, Durham, Salina Airport, Roxbury, Bridgeport, and Kipp.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 35 and 95.
 Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 249 and 266.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
central and south central Kansas.
