At 544 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Pamplico, or 8 miles southwest of Marion, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Marion, Mullins, Johnsonville, Pamplico, Fork, Zion, Hyman, Gapway, Poston, Rains, Floydale, Gresham, Smithboro, Kingsburg, Friendfield, and Carolinas Hospital System - Marion.
