...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ALACHUA AND
NORTHWESTERN MARION COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM EDT...

At 625 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near University Of Florida to 6 miles southwest
of Cross Creek. Movement was west at 10 to 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Archer, University Of Florida, Micanopy, McIntosh, and Flemington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
