NORTHWESTERN BREATHITT...LEE...SOUTHWESTERN WOLFE AND NORTHWESTERN
CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 601 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Pilot to near Mount Olive to Turin to Dabolt.
Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Beattyville, Campton, Booneville, Fincastle, Turin, Travellers Rest,
White Ash, Blake, Southfork, Fillmore, Cowcreek, Tyner, Privett,
Earnestville, Ida May, Shepherdtown, Delvinta, Lerose, War Creek, and
Tallega.

THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 42
and 45.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southeastern Kentucky.
