Through 1100 am, widely scattered showers will slowly increase in
coverage and intensity across the coastal waters of the Florida Keys
and in the vicinity of the island chain. Most of this activity will
move to the west at 5 to 10 knots. Mariners encountering this
activity can expect brief bouts of moderate rainfall reducing
visibilities and wind gusts up to 20 knots. A few island communities
in the Lower Keys can expect up to a few hundredths of an inch of
rainfall.
