Through 730 PM, a potent squall will slide northeast just to the west
of the Lower Keys, although wind gusts up to 50 to 55 mph are
possible for western portions of Key West. For island communities
across the Upper Keys, the cluster of storms has stalled and heavy
rainfall is now the main threat. Radar derived totals suggest hourly
accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are likely. Stay tuned to NOAA weather
radio for additional warnings, statements, or flood products.
