.NOW...
Through 230 PM, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
move southeastward near 10 mph, and be concentrated mostly over the
Florida Straits 10 to 40 nm south of the Florida Keys, as well as,
over our deep gulf waters from off mainland Monroe to the Dry
Tortugas. A few other showers and thunderstorms will also be found
closer in to the Florida Keys, affecting mainly the Seven Mile
Bridge, Marathon, and Key Largo, as well as the adjacent nearshore
waters. The stronger activity will produce a few lightning strikes,
wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph, and blinding downpours. Island locations
may receive additional rainfall of one half to one inch.
