Through 900 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
continue to move northwest near 15 knots across the Straits of
Florida, Hawk Channel, parts of the Keys island chain, Florida Bay,
and the nearshore and offshore Gulf waters. Mariners may encounter
wind gusts around 25 knots, reduced visibilities in heavy downpours,
and occasional lightning strikes. On land, some spots may see
rainfall amounts up to one tenth of an inch.
