...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHERRY AND BROWN
COUNTIES THROUGH 430 AM CDT...

At 351 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles west of Johnstown to near Brownlee.
Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Ainsworth, Long Pine, Johnstown, Brownlee, Elsmere, Wood Lake, Hofeld
Lake, Raven, Bobcat State Wildlife Management Area, Moon Lake, Willow
Lake State Wildlife Management Area, Long Lake State Wildlife
Management Area, Highway 83 crossing the North Loup River, Keller
Park State Recreation Area, Pine Glen State Wildlife Refuge, Antelope
Peak, Jones Lake, Johnsons Corner, and Highway 83 crossing Goose
Creek.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 194 and 206.
 Highway 20 between mile markers 219 and 250.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 159 and 186.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
