Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
A cold front will slowly move east across Lake Erie today as low
pressure 29.80 inches lifts northeast across Lake Huron and into
southern Ontario. The front will exit to the east Thursday
morning, allowing high pressure 30.10 inches to build over the
region. The high will exit to the north Friday as the remnants of
Helene move into the Ohio and Tennessee valleys. This system will
extend a trough averaging 30.00 inches over the lower Great Lakes
over the weekend.
