946 FZUS61 KCLE 201340 GLFLE Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie National Weather Service Cleveland OH 940 AM EDT Fri Sep 20 2024 For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A ridge averaging 30.00 inches will remain over Lake Erie through this afternoon. A weak cold front will enter tonight and cross the lake by Saturday. A weak ridge averaging 29.90 inches will return for Saturday night into Sunday. Low pressure 29.70 inches will enter the Great Lakes region for Sunday night and extend a cold front across the lake for Monday. Another low of 29.70 inches will move northeast along the front on Tuesday.
