...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada...

  Humboldt River At Comus affecting Humboldt County.

.The Humboldt River at Comus is expected to continue to slowly rise
through midweek but remain in action stage before beginning to
gradually fall late this week.

For the Lower Humboldt...including Palisade, Battle Mountain,
Comus...elevated river levels are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in the advisory area, remain alert to possible flooding
or the possibility of the advisory being upgraded to a warning.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt is possible.

* WHERE...Humboldt River at Comus.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Very minor lowland flooding along the
  reach. No flooding in Winnemucca.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:15 PM PDT Monday the stage was 8.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 9.0 feet Wednesday
    afternoon. It will then fall to 8.9 feet Wednesday afternoon.
    It will rise to 9.0 feet late Wednesday evening. It will then
    fall to 8.8 feet Thursday afternoon. It will rise to 8.9 feet
    Thursday evening. It will then fall again and remain below
    flood stage.
  - Action stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
