...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL OLDHAM...WEST
CENTRAL SHELBY AND NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM
EDT...

At 255 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Newburg, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Louisville, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Lyndon, Middletown, Douglass
Hills, Hurstbourne, Graymoor-Devondale, Windy Hills, and Anchorage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
central Kentucky.
