Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A compact 29.4 inch low just north of Lake Ontario will rotate across northern New York through this afternoon. A 30.0 inch high centered over the Ohio Valley will extend northwards across the Great Lakes. The axis of the high pressure will cross the lake tonight and Tuesday. The next cold front will cross the lake Wednesday. Another 30.0 inch high will then build across the central Great Lakes and into the lower Lakes Thursday and Friday.
