Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...An 30.4 inch surface high nosing in over the Mid- Atlantic will begin to settle southward today. The ridge will then slowly weaken to 30.1 inches over the weekend and then drift away from the coast. A 29.3 inch low will pass north of the lake late Sunday followed by a 30.0 inch sfc high that will build into the region early next week.
