.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns remain low today and tomorrow with recent
rainfall helping to knock ERCs down. The cold front moved through
this morning with breezy north winds of 15 to 25 mph today. Winds
will diminish tonight and remain light and variable tomorrow.
Scattered showers and storms are expected to continue this
afternoon and evening with minimum relative humidity values near
or above 60 percent. Tomorrow, below seasonable temperatures in
the 70s and dewpoints in the 50s will give way to relative
humidity values above 40 percent areawide.
A chance of showers and thunderstorms returns on Tuesday,
especially across the Rolling Plains - then dry conditions are
expected through at least Thursday. Near seasonal temperatures
will persist through the week with no fire weather concerns
anticipated at this time.
