...A GUST FRONT APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD...

At 1004 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated weather observations
indicated a gust front, capable of producing winds to around 25
knots. This front was located along a line extending from near
Smallwood State Park to near Potomac Creek, moving east at 30 knots.

The front will be near...
  Port Tobacco River, Fairview Beach, Nanjemoy Creek, Mathias Point,
  and Maryland Point around 1010 PM EDT.
  U.S. 301 Nice Memorial Bridge and Popes Creek around 1015 PM EDT.
  Colonial Beach and Swan Point around 1025 PM EDT.
  Cobb Island around 1035 PM EDT.
  Westmoreland State Park around 1040 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds and locally higher waves. Boaters in
small craft should seek safe harbor immediately.
