CDT/630 PM MDT/ FOR CENTRAL LEA AND NORTHWESTERN GAINES COUNTIES...

At 659 PM CDT/559 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 14 miles southeast of McDonald to near Maljamar,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Hobbs, Lovington, Humble City, Industrial Airpark, Knowles, and
Higginbotham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.
