The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Biscayne Bay...
  Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 307 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over North Bay
  Village, or over Miami Beach, moving east at 5 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Virginia Key, Sunny Isles, Bay Harbor Islands, Miami Beach, Bal
  Harbour, Surfside, North Bay Village, Indian Creek, Golden Beach,
  and Hallandale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
