...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Palm Beach
County through 1015 PM EDT...

At 922 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm near Loxahatchee NWR, or 8 miles southwest of
Wellington, moving north at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Lake
Worth, Riviera Beach, Palm Beach, Greenacres, Royal Palm Beach, Palm
Springs, Lantana, Lake Park, Atlantis, Haverhill, Cloud Lake,
Loxahatchee NWR, Palm Beach International Airport, Port Of Palm
Beach, Golden Lakes, and Loxahatchee Groves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Excessive cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
