644 FNUS76 KMFR 180416 FWSMFR Spot Forecast for Morgan Point RX...Mid Klamath Watershed Council National Weather Service MEDFORD OR 916 PM PDT Mon Jun 17 2024 Forecast is based on ignition time of 0800 PDT on June 18. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...Cool, but dry weather will continue tonight. It`ll be dry and turn warmer Tuesday and Wednesday with high pressure sticking around through Friday. The humidity is expected to increase above 20% around 7 PM Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and fall below 20% by 10 or 11 am. The forecast mixing/inversion height might actually be a little low. Some models show the inversion sitting as high as 2000 feet. **Interesting to hear about the east surface wind. I wonder if it was from some turning along the river valley? It`s hard to know for sure as the valley is tight enough our models can`t quite resolve the winds there. Sounds like everything else went well with respect to burning, and I hope your next window is just as fruitful. .TUESDAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny. Max temperature.....Around 84 degrees.
