Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
300 AM EDT Sat Jun 15 2024

.DISCUSSION...
A dry airmass will be in place through the weekend, with minimum
RH in the 30s and 40s percent, especially away from the coast.
This will overlap with breezy winds at times, and is noteworthy
for any ongoing, or planned, fires. Northeasterly winds expected
behind a cold front that will move through this morning. A few
thunderstorms may develop Saturday afternoon, mainly across
Onslow, Jones, Southern Craven, and Carteret Counties.
