Light west to southwest winds around 5 mph will mostly persist today.
A few showers and an isolated storm may develop into the late morning,
with scattered to numerous showers and storms developing across the
area this afternoon. Gusty and variable winds possible in the vicinity
of any storms that develop. Weaker transport winds today will lead to
poor to fair dispersion values.

Hot and humid conditions forecast to continue today, with a high
in the low 90s this afternoon and peak heat index values around
105.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (45-55 percent) then becoming
                    mostly cloudy (65-75 percent). Slight chance of
                    showers and thunderstorms late in the morning.
                    Chance of showers and thunderstorms early in
                    the afternoon, then showers and thunderstorms
                    likely.
Chance of pcpn......70 percent.
LAL.................No Tstms until 1000, then 1-8 strikes until
                    1300, then 9-15 strikes until 1500, then 16-25
