(06Z TAFS)
Issued at 1101 PM CDT Sat Jun 8 2024

VFR conditions are forecast to remain prevalent across the forecast
area through Sunday evening. There is still some potential for
patchy fog development across portions of southeast MS, southwest
AL, and the interior western FL panhandle, mainly between the
08-13Z Sunday morning with very localized visibility reductions to
MVFR to IFR levels. Confidence in fog development remains too low
to include mention in the KBFM/KMOB/KJKA/KPNS TAFs. Winds remain
calm or light/variable tonight. A light westerly wind develops
across the region Sunday morning before turning southerly to
southwesterly between 5-10 knots over the southern part of our
area Sunday afternoon in association with a developing seabreeze.

UPDATE...
Issued at 905 PM CDT Sat Jun 8 2024

An upper level ridge of high pressure will continue to build
across the north central Gulf Coast region through early Sunday
morning. The ongoing forecast is generally in good shape through
the rest of tonight, except we added mention of patchy fog across
southern portions of southeast MS and into parts of southwest AL
and the interior western FL panhandle where clear skies, light
winds, and T/Td spreads nearing saturation could favor some
localized patches of fog development overnight into early Sunday
morning. Overnight lows are on track to range in the mid to upper
60s over interior communities and in the lower to mid 70s along
the immediate coast and beaches. /21
