...Scattered strong thunderstorms will affect
Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL from 20 to
60 NM...
Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM...
Until 1045 AM CDT....

At 949 AM CDT...Strong thunderstorms were scattered along a
line extending from 28 nm south of Oriskany Reef to 37 nm south of
Perdido Pass to 39 nm southeast of Farewell Buoy...moving northeast
at 20 knots.

These storms will remain over mainly open waters.

The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30
knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible and keep away from metal
objects.

Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts.
Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor
immediately.
