The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL out
  20 NM...
  Pensacola Bay Area including Santa Rosa Sound...

* Until 600 AM CDT.

* At 428 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Navarre
  Beach, or 11 nm southwest of Mary Esther. The strong thunderstorm
  was nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Navarre Beach, East Santa Rosa Sound, and Fort Walton Liberty Ship
  Reef.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
