* At 655 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles west of
  Gate City, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Rogersville, Gate City, Surgoinsville, Weber
  City, Spurgeon, Colonial Heights, Walnut Hill, and Oak Grove.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 26 in Tennessee between mile markers 1 and 10.
 Interstate 81 in Tennessee between mile markers 55 and 75.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
