To learn more please visit the following URL: https://ocean.weather.gov/proposed-meters.php .SYNOPSIS...A small, well-defined, low pressure area located just off the Georgia coast early tonight will likely move inland later tonight, with chances for the system becoming a tropical depression decreasing. For more information please see details issued by the National Hurricane Center. Otherwise, high pressure will persist east of the waters with a ridge extending westward over most of the waters tonight into Sunday. The ridge will gradually shift eastward later Sunday and Sunday night as a cold front approaches the northern Mid-Atlantic coast. The cold front will move offshore and cross the waters north of the area Monday, and then clear east of those waters Monday night as the front crosses the waters just north of the area. The front will likely stall and weaken from the South Carolina coast eastward Tuesday and Tuesday night as weak high pressure forms north of the front. The front will return north as a warm front Wednesday as the high shifts east and northeast of the area. The next cold front will approach the coast from the west Wednesday night.
