Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A broad area of low pressure is located over the
southwest Gulf this morning, with a mean 1005 mb center, AL93,
near 21N95.5W. Strong winds surround the low center to the S of
26N and W of 92W. Environmental conditions appear conducive for
gradual development of this system as it moves slowly west-
northwestward or northwestward, and a tropical depression could
form over the western Gulf of Mexico this weekend. Moderate to
fresh winds and moderate seas prevail E of 90W this morning and
will diminish to gentle to moderate and slight seas tonight and
to light to gentle speeds on Sun. Conditions are forecast to
improve W of 90W Sun afternoon into Mon as the low pressure
system moves inland across Mexico. Weak high pressure will
reside over the E central Gulf Tue and Wed.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh SE winds and moderate seas will prevail across
the waters N of 30N and W of 60W through the weekend as low
pressure persists near the SE U.S. coast, and high pressure
prevails near Bermuda. Another area of fresh E winds and
moderate  seas currently prevails S of 23N and into the Bahamas.
Light to  gentle anticyclonic flow will continue elsewhere
through the  weekend as W Atlantic high pressure extends along
about 34N.  Winds and seas will increase across the waters E of
the Lesser  Antilles starting on Mon night due to an approaching
tropical  wave.
