Conditions given represent the highest within that period. Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas only. Weak low pressure will develop and move NE to the Gulf of Maine by early Fri and have a trailing cold front move E and SE over the waters through the day. The cold front will move E and SE of the waters Fri night. A broad area of weak low pressure will slowly track E through the Saint Lawrence Valley Sat and Sat night, moving E into the Canadian maritimes Sun and Mon. The low will drag a weak cold front SE across the waters Sun and E of the waters early Mon. Another weak cold front will approach the coast from the W later Mon and Mon night, then dissipate on Tue leaving behind a weak trough through Tue night. Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line .TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 6 ft.
