West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure will slowly drift S
just W of the outer mid-Atlantic waters tonight, then turn E and
move away from the waters Tue through Wed. A high pressure ridge
will continue building S along the coast tonight through Tue
night. The ridge will move offshore Wed, then shift NE and weaken
Wed night into Thu. Low pressure will develop offshore of the
northern waters Thu night, then track E while remaining N of the
area Fri and Fri night. Across the southern waters, winds and
seas will likely increase Thu through Fri ahead of Potential
Tropical Cyclone Nine moving from the eastern Gulf of Mexico
inland into the Southeast U.S. All marine interests should
closely monitor the latest forecasts from the National Hurricane
Center.
