.DISCUSSION...A modest Atlantic ridge dominates the Tropical Atlantic into the
Caribbean, while one tropical wave is moving across the southeast Caribbean
and the next is approaching 50W today. Atmospheric conditions are moderately stable.
Expect moderate easterly trade winds and a mix of moderate period NE and E swell
through Fri. Scattered showers and a few tstorms are expected across the SAR
area through tonight before drier Saharan Air ahead of the next tropical wave moves
across the area, reducing chances for convection.
