  Little Sioux River Near Turin affecting Monona County.

.The updated forecast extends the time of the flooding and the flood
warning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Turin.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 27.3 feet...or 2.3
    feet above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 27.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday afternoon and continue falling to 16.6 feet Monday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
