FOR SOUTHWESTERN LANCASTER...NORTHERN JEFFERSON...SEWARD...SALINE AND
NORTHWESTERN GAGE COUNTIES...
At 109 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles north of Goehner to 2 miles south of Fairmont,
moving southeast at 65 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Weather Instrument Measurement of 55 mph at the York
airport. Other unofficial weather instruments have measured
60 to 65 mph recently with this storm.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Seward, Crete, Milford, Wilber, Friend, Utica, Firth, Dorchester, De
Witt, Cortland, Plymouth, Beaver Crossing, Western, Clatonia, Hallam,
Pleasant Dale, Daykin, Goehner, Sprague, and Cordova.
