...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN KINGFISHER...NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA...WESTERN LOGAN
AND NORTHEASTERN CANADIAN COUNTIES...

At 947 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cedar Valley,
moving south at 35 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR CEDAR VALLEY AND SEWARD.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and baseball size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported wind-driven hail shattering
         windows in Crescent.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
         considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
         Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Edmond, Guthrie, Piedmont, Crescent, Cashion, Cedar
Valley, Cimarron City, Navina, and Seward.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
