The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central Allegheny County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
  West central Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 305 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Trafford, or
  near Monroeville, and is nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
           power outages.

* Locations impacted include...
  Monroeville, Jeannette, Plum, Murrysville, Springdale, Manor,
  Trafford, Delmont, Export, Harrison City, and Slickville.

This includes the following highways...
  Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 53 and 64.
  Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania near mile marker 84.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
