Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
852 PM MDT Sun Jun 16 2024

...Red Flag Warning in effect for portions of the area from 11 AM
MDT through 9 PM MDT Monday...

.Discussion...

Will see another day of hot, dry, and windy conditions tomorrow
and given the high likelihood of critical fire weather conditions,
with a Fire Weather Watch in place.

For Tuesday through Thursday, it will not be as hot and winds are
expected to shift into an upslope pattern over the plains. there
will also be a better chance of some scattered wetting storms over
the plains from Tuesday through Thursday. The interior mountains,
however, will remain windy and dry and critical fire weather
conditions will be possible.

Smoke dispersion is expected to be excellent across the area on
Monday, and very good to excellent on Tuesday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
