231 FNUS55 KPUB 310008 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 608 PM MDT Thu May 30 2024 .Discussion... Made a few adjustments to the precipitation chances across the Plains for this evening. Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through much of the extended forecast. Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue for portions of our eastern mountains and a majority of our eastern plains for tomorrow and Saturday. By Sunday, a trend towards above normal temperatures and dry conditions looks to set in. Sunday will be breezy for many locations, with spotty critical fire weather possible over portions of the San Juans and La Garitas. Though hot and dry conditions look to stick around into the middle of next week, winds look to weaken below critical thresholds. Afternoon smoke dispersions will be very good or better over the high country tomorrow and Saturday across the district. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-311015- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 608 PM MDT Thu May 30 2024 .REST OF TONIGHT...
