High and fast flows remain in place along portions of the Arkansas
River. River levels have been decreasing and will continue to
decrease as the peak snow melt has passed, however cold swift water
can still be dangerous. The river will continue to run near bank
full in places
from Salida to La Junta for the next several days. Caution is still
advised in and near the Arkansas river, as river banks may be
unstable.
