...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ALAMOSA...
SOUTHEASTERN RIO GRANDE AND NORTHEASTERN CONEJOS COUNTIES THROUGH 500
PM MDT...
At 428 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Capulin, or 13 miles southwest of San Luis Valley Airport, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Alamosa, San Luis Valley Airport, Alamosa East, and Capulin.
