.DISCUSSION...

Beginning today, we get into a rinse and repeat pattern where it`s
mostly sunny with light winds everyday. Temperatures start to level
off around 80 in lower valleys and 70`s in the Sierra, with
relatively light winds each afternoon out of the north/northeast
through mid next week. There`s becoming more of a consensus between
the GFS and EC on Tuesday of a brief Rex Block setting up off the
West Coast. High pressure will be working in our favor at first with
the low pressure over SoCal, then as the Block breaks down, the high
pushes off east and a shortwave trough brushes by northern Nevada on
Wednesday. Not a huge concern as of right now other than possible
gusty winds, but something we`ll monitor as we get closer to
Wednesday.

.AVIATION...

Albeit slightly drier tonight, patchy fog will likely return to KTRK
this morning, dissipating around 17-18Z. Otherwise, light
afternoon winds, mostly sunny skies, and VFR conditions will
prevail through the weekend.
