Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Reno NV
414 AM PDT Thu Jun 20 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Temperatures will continue to heat up this week with highs approaching
the 100 degree mark across western Nevada valleys by Saturday and
Sunday. Aside from isolated showers along the Sierra in Alpine and
Mono counties on Thursday, conditions will remain dry this week.
Light winds will continue until west winds increase by Saturday
through early next week. Breezy winds and dry conditions during this
period could yield areas of critical fire weather conditions in areas
of receptive fine fuels.

Note: Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds.
Note: Mixing Heights are in feet above ground level of the valley floors.
Note: Please see operating plan for detailed zone descriptions
