Much drier conditions today and Friday with poor midslope
recoveries. A period of near critical conditions this afternoon
with breezy west to northwest winds. Another trough will bring
afternoon southwest breezes back to the area this weekend with a
period of near critical conditions possible Saturday.

Dry weather expected with a cooling trend today, then above normal
temperatures Friday into the weekend. Minimum humidities forecast
in the teens and 20s with areas of poor overnight recovery in the
foothills and mountains. Locally gusty southwest winds in the
mountains and Tahoe Basin expected this weekend.
