...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN NICHOLAS...EAST
CENTRAL KANAWHA...SOUTHWESTERN BRAXTON AND CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 200
PM EDT...

At 112 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Glen, or near Clay, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Clay, Birch River, Glen, Harrison, Widen, Strange Creek, Bickmore,
Ivydale, Procious, and Indore.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 79 between mile markers 46 and 49.
 Route 19 between mile markers 49 and 61.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
